Course info

Ranked no.87 in England’s Top 100 courses.

Specifically chosen for nestling on the edge of the chalk-based Chiltern Hills. Ashridge is a perfect venue for winter golf. This wonderfully natural venue is set amongst thousands of acres of National Trust woodland, with the scene set as you drive to the clubhouse through avenues of beautiful, mature trees.

The great Sir Henry Cotton was the pro here when winning the Open at Carnoustie in 1937 - Alex Hay was another famous former pro. In 2022, Ashridge hosted the English Men’s Seniors Championship.

Ashridge was one of the first private clubs to pioneer ‘society days’, where, to this day, visitors are welcomed as day Members, and guaranteed a warm welcome both on and off the course. Even the deer here have Life Membership!

We started 2024 with our first ever visit to Liphook, and we end it with our first visit to Ashridge. Whilst maybe bookending more illustrious names throughout the year, these 2 courses are wonderful venues in their own right.
