Ranked no.9 in England’s Top 100 courses and no.72 in the World
Designed by arguably the greatest golf architect of all time, Harry Colt, many think this is his finest creation, even outshining Sunningdale and Swinley Forest. The club has 3 loops of 9 - we shall be playing the 2 most prestigious of them, the Red and the Blue.
It’s a brilliantly designed course that makes full use of the natural contours, weaving its way through Scots pines, silver birch and heather. The magnificent red brick clubhouse sits on the highest point of the course, offering wonderful panoramic views of the opening and closing holes.
We’ve had 2 truly memorable days here in recent years and are delighted to be back.
The itinerary
- 0800 Meet for tea/coffee, pastries, and bacon rolls
- 0900 18 holes - Individual Stableford - yellow tees
- Nearest the Pin - 8th on the Red course
- After play, return to the clubhouse for a 3 course Carvery lunch and prizegiving
The prizes
- A bottle of Moët et Chandon champagne to the individual winner
- A bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape to the runner up and winner of Nearest the Pin
