The first 54 hole venue to have all 3 courses listed in the Top 100 courses of Great Britain & Ireland.
This wonderful club has hosted over 60 professional tournaments, and is our 6th visit here.
In the morning we play the Marquess. Whilst only opened in 2000, it soon became known as Woburn’s ‘jewel in the crown.’ This stunning course of rolling terrain is surrounded by pine, spruce, sweet chestnut, and oak. Between 2014 and 2017, it was one of only 4 courses to stage Final Qualifying for the Open. It has hosted 4 British Masters events, and in 2015 and 2019, staged the Women’s British Open Championship.
In the afternoon we play the Dukes, a course of natural charm containing pines, spruce and sweet chestnuts towering over the heather, gorse and bracken. The first of Woburn’s 3 courses to be completed, the Dukes has staged 45 professional tournaments. On all our visits, everyone has thoroughly enjoyed playing it.
The practice facilities at Woburn are second to none. The club is just a 10 minute drive from the M1 (J13.

Morning
- 0730 Meet in the Poulter room for tea/coffee & bacon rolls
- 0820 18 holes on the Marquess - Individual Stableford - yellow tees
- Nearest the Pin - 17th
- After play, return to the clubhouse for a 2 course lunch
Afternoon
- 1330 18 holes on the Dukes - Individual Stableford - yellow tees
- Nearest the Pin - 12th
- Return to the clubhouse for Prizegiving
The prizes
- Winners of the morning and afternoon round will win a bottle of Moët et Chandon champagne
- Runners up and winners of Nearest the Pin to receive a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape
- Overall winner of the 2 combined scores to win a Magnum of Moët et Chandon
