St. George’s Hill
Last April we had arguably one of our best ever days out in the history of IGC London here at St.George’s with a record ‘sold out’ field (nine fourballs) playing in typical IGC sunshine on an immaculate course. A day to remember.
St.George’s Hill has 3 loops of 9 holes. We shall again be playing the Red & the Blue, the 2 more prestigious loops that currently sit 24th in the Top100 Courses in the UK & Ireland. Designed by arguably the greatest golf architect of all time, Harry Colt, many think this is his finest creation, even outshining his Sunningdale & Swinley Forest.
The undulating fairways follow the natural contours of the Surrey sand belt, weaving their way through Scots pines, silver birch & heather – all set within an exclusive private estate. The magnificent red brick clubhouse sits on the highest point of the course, offering wonderful panoramic views of the opening & closing holes. On a course that is notoriously difficult to book to play, & with a normal Green Fee of £225, I hope you feel you are able to join us.
